WHY DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We collect personal information about you for business purposes, such as evaluating your financial needs, processing your requests and transactions, informing you about products and services which may be of interest to you, and providing customer service. Our employees are required under Farm Credit policy and guidelines to maintain and protect the confidentiality of your personal information and must follow these established procedures to comply with Farm Credit policy and rules. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
CFG’s site uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name and address. If you are using a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 2.1 or greater, or Netscape Navigator version 2.0 or greater), the information you provide us is encrypted at 128-bit, making it extremely difficult to read, even if it is wrongly intercepted.

INFORMATION SHARING AND AFFILIATES
CFG is made up of several affiliated Farm Credit Associations. We may share your personal information as described above with our affiliates for business purposes such as providing services and servicing customer accounts. CFG does not share or sell any of the information it gathers to third parties unaffiliated with CFG.
