Pam Beatty, Vice President-Credit
Pam Beatty is an Vice President-Credit for the FCS Commercial Finance Group (CFG). She joined the CFG in January 2011. Her primary responsibilities include underwriting new loans and servicing existing clients. She was previously employed as Vice President at Minnwest Capital Corporation when she oversaw credit and operations. Prior to that, she was employed at Farm Credit Leasing as a Credit Analyst.
Pam completed her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, with a B.A. in management and an accounting minor.
Outside of work, Pam enjoys reading, boating and spending time with friends and family.

Dan Best, Vice President
Dan Best joined the Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in August 2002. His primary responsibilities are focused as a relationship manager for CFG clients in a variety of industries including food processing and distribution; wine, spirits, and beer; animal protein; and fertilizer. He works actively with the banks and Farm Credit associations that are involved in the loan syndication market. Dan also supports the credit side of the business by underwriting new clients and servicing existing one.
Prior to joining the CFG, Dan worked in community banking in Sioux Falls, SD holding various finance and credit positions at Founders Trust National Bank and First National Bank. He also worked as a summer associate at M&T Bank in Buffalo, New York, in the credit department focusing on middle-market lending.
Dan received his MBA in finance from Indiana University and also has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota.

Mary Bierkamp Johnson, General Counsel
Mary Bierkamp Johnson is General Counsel of the FCS Commercial Finance Group. She joined the group in 2003 after many years representing financial institutions in the areas of banking, finance, loan structuring and restructuring and debtor/creditor rights. Before joining the FCS Commercial Finance Group, Mary led the commercial practice legal group at US Bank (formerly First Bank System) and before that was in private practice.
Mary graduated summa cum laude from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and received her JD cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. For many years Mary served as chair of the Banking Law Committee of the Minnesota state bar association and also as a executive committee member for the Business Law Section of the state bar association.
For fun Mary enjoys golf, hiking, nature and animals, reading, sports, the arts, travel, skiing and sailing. She grew up in the prairie of southwest Minnesota in the farming community of Luverne.

Lisa Caswell, Vice President
Lisa Caswell is a Vice President at FCS Commercial Finance Group (CFG). She is the relationship manager for a portfolio of agribusiness clients and is responsible for underwriting, servicing and expanding these relationships. In addition, Lisa is charged with sourcing new opportunities through relationships with commercial banks in the syndicated loan market and the Farm Credit System. She was previously employed at Farm Credit Leasing where she underwrote leases for larger corporate clients.
Lisa graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a B.A. in mathematics. She earned her MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas in May 2000. Outside of work Lisa enjoys running, fitness classes and being outdoors. Lisa’s agricultural roots are deep as she grew up milking cows on a small family dairy farm in Wisconsin.

Mike Frodermann, Senior Vice President – Credit
Mike Frodermann joined FCS Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in April 2012 as Senior Vice President – Credit. Mike’s primary responsibilities at CFG include credit administration, managing the credit approval process, credit monitoring, and reporting.
Prior to joining CFG, Mike operated a commercial finance consulting practice serving financial institution clients in the areas of credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio administration, risk management, and capital markets. Prior to forming his consulting practice, Mike worked in various capacities at Marquette Business Credit, GE Capital, Heller Financial, and Farm Credit Leasing.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Morris and holds degrees in economics and management.

Erik Knight, Assistant Vice President
Erik Knight serves as a Assistant Vice President for the FCS Commercial Finance Group and joined CFG in May 2014. Erik’s primary responsibilities include underwriting new loans and servicing existing clients. Prior to joining CFG, Erik worked as a Credit Analyst Manager in US Bank’s Credit Risk Management Division, where he underwrote, reviewed, and approved unsecured bank product exposure. Prior to US Bank, Erik worked for Wells Fargo Capital Finance as an Associate Credit Analyst. His responsibilities at Wells Fargo included the underwriting of revolving lines of credit as part of the bank’s Asset Based Lending Group.
Erik earned his BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. He also holds a CPA license from the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Nee Ly, Senior Credit Analyst
Nee Ly joined the FCS Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in October 2008. His responsibilities include analyzing and underwriting new CFG loans as well as monitoring current clients. Nee works primarily with clients in the agribusiness and utilities industries.
Prior to joining CFG, Nee worked at CHS Inc. as an energy credit analyst and has several years of experience in the energy and agriculture industries. He received his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Outside of work, Nee enjoys golfing and fishing with his wife and son. Nee grew up in Denver, Colorado, and remains a Denver Broncos fan.

Christine Paulson, Credit Analyst
Christine Paulson joined the FCS Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in February 2016. Her responsibilities include analyzing and underwriting new CFG loans as well as monitoring current clients.
Christine is originally from Wisconsin and has several years of experience as a Commissioned Bank Examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Christine received her BS in finance from Winona State University and her MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas, both of which are in Minnesota. For three-and-a-half years she was a professional triathlete.

Warren Shoen, Senior Vice President
Warren Shoen joined the Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in 2001 and is a Senior Vice President. Warren’s responsibilities focus on relationship management and marketing. Key industries serviced include grain, animal protein, fertilizer and ag inputs, food and beverage, timber and forest products, dairy, energy and telecommunications. He actively works with banks and Farm Credit associations that are involved in the loan syndication market.
Prior to joining the CFG Warren was with Wells Fargo, serving as a credit officer in Wells Fargo’s equipment finance group. Before his work at Wells Fargo Warren spent nearly eleven years with Farm Credit Leasing (FCL) in various credit capacities. During his last five years at FCL Warren was the Credit Manager with responsibility for a portfolio of customers located nationwide that was comprised of farmer owned ag cooperatives, large ag producers and agribusinesses, and rural utilities.
Warren was raised on the family’s dairy farm in Minnesota and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota, with a BS in agribusiness management. He received his MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.

Jeff Torrison, Managing Director
Jeff Torrison is Managing Director of the FCS Commercial Finance Group and in charge of its operations. He joined the group in 1995 as its first employee after working for First Bank System (now US Bank) for approximately ten years where he helped deliver financial services to a wide variety of agribusiness clients.
Jeff graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a degree in accounting and received his MBA in finance from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. He began his career at the public accounting firm now known as Ernst & Young and also served as director of professional services for Great Plains Software before going into banking.
In his spare time Jeff enjoys biking, reading, and playing basketball. He is a life-long Minnesota Twins fan and was at the final game when the team won the 1987 World Series. His interest in agriculture began as a youth when he helped his grandparents with chores on their farm in Iowa.

Jeremy Voigts, Vice President
Jeremy Voigts joined the Commercial Finance Group (CFG) in July of 2002. He is as relationship manager with a focus on power, telecom, and grain marketing industries. Jeremy works actively with the banks and Farm Credit institutions who are involved in the loan syndication market to source new client opportunities for the CFG. He also supports the credit side of the business by underwriting new clients and servicing existing ones.
Jeremy worked as a credit analyst for two years at Farm Credit Leasing prior to joining the CFG. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in finance with a minor in economics, and received his MBA at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
